Director: Christopher AlenderProduction Company: Soapbox FilmsIn our first partnership with Disney, we brought Disney’s Haunted Mansion film to life in a way that felt both culturally resonant and unmistakably Zillow. The collaboration began with an in-film brand integration, where Rosario Dawson’s character used the Zillow app to find a house for herself and son. Our partnership with Disney then expanded into a broader co-branded campaign that included a custom listing and immersive walkthrough experience built around the mansion itself.
What made Zillow’s involvement so successful was how naturally the partnership connected back to the brand’s core idea of “getting home.” Because Haunted Mansion is a story where the home is effectively the main character, Zillow had a unique opportunity to place the brand inside the film, while reinforcing Zillow as the tool that helps people find their way home. By translating the film’s world into a distinctly Zillow experience we were able to turn the partnership into more than promotion, it became a playful extension of both the movie and Zillow’s brand story.
