Oversee Post-Production for Zillow’s internal agency, Studio Z
In sync with Creative, Account, Project Management and Production, maintain continuity on all internal or external Post-Production projects.
Resource talent for projects done internally, coordinating with CD’s for proper allocation and external projects, selecting the strongest partners based on creative request.
Provide Post oversight on internal and external projects including:
Obtain discipline specific rate quotes from external partners
Integration with BA on SOW’s and payment schedules
Track projects from kick off to delivery, providing any internal information (stock licenses, Branding assets) needed to execute on creative work
Coordinate with external vendors (including AOR) to ensure appropriate assets are delivered at completion of projects
Oversee up-to-date graphic and Brand tool kits for external partners
With internal teams, collaborate to set up realistic edit timelines. Ensure proper hours are accounted for and accurately tracked in Wrike
In conjunction with Director of Production and Creative Producer, maintain and track Post-Production budget against internal and external hours outlined in SOW, flagging concerns as projects progress
Accountable for maintaining Music licensing, including provide access to current libraries, tracking usage and auditing current libraries for better suited options
With Business Affairs Manager, coordinate payment and usage terms for purchased stock music and footage outside of current partners
Provide Tech Support for the following:
Media Management (Raw back up, proxy files, final deliverables including all supporting asset)
Upgrades to industry standard computers and monitors
Server maintenance
Shuttle Drive tracking
Lead in knowledge of industry best practices and evolution cameras, software, plug-in’s, etc.
Document and present use-case for hiring and/or supplementing current staff
Guide and mentor junior editors and animators
Work in close coordination and communication with Producers on your Production team
When applicable, provide editorial and and motion graphic support
Grow awareness of the capabilities of StudioZ Post throughout Zillow’s lines of business
